The ingredients that are used for a beer alone speak volumes. If you start to deal with the complex nature of the brewing materials yeast, hops, malt and the untreated, living brewing water from our mountains, you quickly notice that you have opened a very large barrel with almost no bottom.

Much of the approx. 6000 year old brewing history (maybe it is much older) has been lost or forgotten due to industrialization and impersonal mass production.

Blattmann Bier Ägeri are digging up these old brewing skills and making the fine, sparkling beers accessible again.
